Alma Gale Sheahan, 80, of Haleyville, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026, at Haleyville Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Haleyville on June 20, 1945, to Amery and Mary “Tom” Taylor.
She is survived by her daughter, Leisa (Darren) Loveless; son, Robert Pearl; sister, Linda Green; grandchildren, Dusty (Heather), Christopher (Britany), Tony (Candace), Becky (Steven), Courtney (Cree), Josh (Karmen), Ashley (Corey), Justin (Sierra) and Aaliyah; great-grandchildren, Dawson, Tatum, Rorie, Peyton, Paislee, Haven, Dean, Cameron, Hayden (Mary), Payton, Carson, Leon Carter, Ethan, Tristan, Julien, Javiar, Jonathan, Sophia, Sabrina, Savannah, Jayden, Brody, Jaxson and Maverick, great-great-grandchild, Liana; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Amery and Mary “Tom” Taylor; husband, Thomas Sheahan; son, Bobby Dean Pearl; siblings, Maxiene Geren, Nelda Somers, Orville Taylor, Kenneth Taylor, Charley Taylor and Glenn Taylor.
Funeral services were held on Jan. 18, 2026, at Marion County Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Whitten officiating. The interment followed at Liberty Grove Cemetery.
