WINFIELD - Marion County residents in House District 17 will have an opportunity on Wednesday, March 20, to register to vote in future elections while also obtaining a photo identification to be used in the election process.
The voter registration event will be held at Winfield City Hall from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill has partnered with Rep. Tracy Estes, R-Winfield, to provide the opportunities. The program is designed to assist those in the district who are legally eligible to vote, but have failed to do so either due to lack of understanding of the process or simply have not taken time in the past to register.
