Henry Earl McDonald
Mr. Henry Earl McDonald, 87, of Winfield, passed away on Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, in the Sunset Manor Nursing Facility. Mr. McDonald was born in Fayette County, Ala. on Sept. 6, 1938, to Samuel Belton and Ava Hubbert McDonald.
Earl was a faithful member of Winfield Church of Christ and a 1957 graduate of Hubbertville High School. He dedicated 30 years of his life to Reltoc and Cotler Manufacturing and later worked six years with King Kutter before his retirement. Earl was a hardworking man who loved spending his spare time farming and gardening.
Mr. McDonald is survived by his loving wife, Ina Merle McDonald; his son, Mark McDonald (Sherry) of Tuscaloosa; his daughter, Sherry Lynn Colburn of Northport; his grandchildren, Leisha Crumpton (Kevin), Eric Bowles (Mary Margaret), Nikki Grammer (John) and Andrew McDonald (Madalyn); great-grandchildren, Anna Kate and Ella Brooke Crumpton, Jackson Bowles and Abigail and Nora Grammer; sisters, Winnie Plunkett and Margaret Sue Sodaro (Lee); and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
In addition to his parents, Mr. McDonald was preceded in death by his brother, J.E. McDonald.
A memorial service for Mr. McDonald was held on Nov. 30, 2025, at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel.
