Mrs. Deborah Ann Pendley, better known as Debbie, 73, of Winfield, passed away on Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, at her residence with her sons by her side. Mrs. Pendley was born on April 10, 1952, in San Diego, Calif., to George and Therese McNally Trussler.
Debbie was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Winfield and worked as a manager for over 30 years in various convenience stores in and around Marion, Fayette and Lamar counties. Mrs. Pendley loved her family and spending time with them, playing bingo and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Mrs. Pendley is survived by her two sons, William “Bill” Pendley (Brandy) and Jimmy Pendley (Vicki); grandchildren, Courtney Pendley, Kayla Farquhar (Hayden), Gunner Pendley, Brody Pendley, Lauren Pendley, Regan Pendley, Jackson Reese and Callyn Pendley; great-grandchildren, Sadie Jo Gentry and Landry Farquhar; brothers, Teddy Trussler and Mike Trussler; a sister, Margaret “Peggy” Jackson; her best friend, Linda Sutliff; and  a host of nieces, nephews, other family, friends and church family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Pendley; her parents; sisters, Mary Leal and Kathy Trussler Cook; and an infant brother, James Trussler.
Funeral services for Debbie were held on Oct. 13, 2025, at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Winfield, with burial at the Gibson Hill Cemetery near Berry, Ala.
