HAMILTON — Pierson Mckinnley Anthony, an inmate with the Alabama Department of Corrections in the Hamilton Community Based Facility and Community Work Center, escaped on Saturday, Jan. 25, at approximately 11:20 p.m. An escape report was issued by the ADOC at 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 26.
According to the escape report, Anthony was “suspected to have walked off of property.”
Anthony was described as a 25 year old white male with brown hair, brown eyes, a height of 5’4” and 120 lbs. He was reportedly wearing a state issued brown uniform.
Hours later, Anthony was reported recaptured by the Melissa, Texas Police Department, at 1:52 p.m. on Jan. 26, along with an accomplice. The recapture report stated Anthony surrendered without violence.
