Helen Brewer Cox

Helen Brewer Cox, 76, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024. She was born on March 12, 1948, to the late Curtis and Melissa Brewer.
She left behind to cherish her memory her husband, Ray Cox; daughters, Stephanie (Jason) Taylor, Stacy Tice Cagle, Sherry Pharr and son-in-law, Malcolm Pharr; six grandchildren, Trey (Kaitlyn) Tice, Ally (Collin) Evans, Brady Taylor, Brodie Taylor, Ellie Grace Pharr and Jon Issac Pharr; brothers, Mack (Diane) Brewer and Gene (Anita) Brewer; sisters, Eva Wiginton and Evie Strange; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Elmer and Alvie Brewer; sister, Iva Miller; niece, Sharon Strange; and two infant siblings, Junior and Agnes Brewer.
Per her request, no public services were held. Burial was in Shottsville Cemetery.
