Thomas Jason Green
Mr. Thomas Jason Green, 45, of Winfield, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025, in the North Mississippi Health Services South Marion Hospital in Winfield. He was born on Jan. 22, 1980, in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Thomas was the son of Hermon and Lillie Mae Bishop Green. A 1998 graduate of Winfield City High School, he worked in maintenance at the Pilot Travel Center in Winfield. Known for his creativity and knack for working with his hands, Thomas found joy in small engine repair, fishing and spending time outdoors. Above all, Thomas loved spending time with his family.
Thomas is survived by his children, Brenton and Kylee Green; his fiancé, Tara Porter; sister, Tina Martinez (Cliserio); brother, Terry Green (Jennifer); uncles, J.P. Bishop, Daniel Bishop and John Green (Terri); aunt, Joyce Inman; nieces and nephews, Brittany Green (Chris), Harley Watkins (Bradley), Haley Green, Trevor Green, Micah Norris (Erin), Hunter Daniel (Kristie) and Hannah Bates (Jamison); and a host of great nieces, nephews and other family members.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Timothy Allen Green; and his grandparents, Floyd and Esther Green and William Porter and Vistor Bishop.
Funeral services for Thomas were held on June 10, 2025, at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Old Union Cemetery.
