Pamela Carol Terrell, 56, of Guin passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024 in the Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama. She was born in Winfield, Alabama on June 15, 1967 to Hollie Jr. and Dorothy Jean Lipsey Terrell. Pamela was a member of Guin First Baptist Church and a 1985 graduate of Winfield City High School. Pamela was a very hardworking and determined lady that loved children. She worked for many years at various jobs in the surrounding area before her retirement. When she wasn’t working, Pamela enjoyed being a homemaker, cooking, and spending time with family. Pamela was well known as an avid plant mom.
Pamela is survived by her daughter, Tamela Thomas; mother, Dorothy Terrell; sisters, Jenna Sampson (Jesse), Deborah Hackman and Valerie McCollum (Greg), all of Winfield; grandson, Andrew Malik J Nalls and life partner, Bryan Belk; nieces and nephews, T.J. Sampson, Curtis Sampson (Nikita), Anthony Hackman (Shante), Brithney Hackman, Darnell Hackman, Christopher Terrell (Kasey), Jessica Agnew (Deion), and Lakeisha Grant (William); goddaughter, Lillee Pearce,; lifelong friend, Debra Chaniey; and a host of other family members.
Pamela was preceded in death by her father, Hollie Terrell Jr., and nephews, Brandon Hackman and Stacey Sampson.
Funeral services for Mrs. Terrell were held on Monday, Jan. 29, 2024 at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel.
