MILLPORT — The Brilliant Tigers traveled to Millport on Friday, Nov. 3, to play the South Lamar Stallions to wrap up the regular season.
The Stallions were able to shut out the Tigers, winning the game 56-0.
South Lamar scored 13 points in the first quarter, and ended the first half of the game with a 35-0 lead over the Tigers.
The Stallions scored two more touchdowns in the third quarter to increase their lead to 49-0.
With a few minutes left in the game, the Stallions scored a final touchdown to reach the final scored of 56-0.
Friday’s game marked the end of the Brilliant Tigers’ season, as they will not be advancing to the state playoffs this year.
The Tigers ended their season with an overall record of 3-7, and a record of 1-7 within 1A Region 5.
