HAMILTON — The Hamilton Aggies were left frustrated after two straight losses against the Central Wildcats on Saturday, April 15, in Hamilton.
In their first game, Hamilton lost 2-0, with Central’s runs coming early on in the game.
Despite early runs being scored, Pitcher Mason Holloway had a strong outing on the mound, surrendering two runs on four hits over four innings while striking out three batters.
Caden Foltz pitched the remainder of the game.
Holloway also led the Aggies with two hits in three at bats as he tried to get the offense started for Hamilton.
While the first game for Hamilton was a close one, the second would not be as tight of an affair.
Hamilton lost 13-3 against the visitors, with the bulk of the runs being scored in the early stages of the game yet again.
Hamilton let up nine runs in three innings while scoring two of their own thanks to a Foltz double and a Sam Moore sac fly.
With the score at 9-2 at the top of the fifth, Central added to their lead, stretching the game to 11-2.
Central scored their final runs of the game in the top of the sixth, making the score 13-2.
In the bottom of the inning, Hamilton was able to score one more consolation run after another double from Foltz brought in Joseph Aycock.
