Mrs. Freda Mae “Dede” Wallace, 80, of Winfield, passed away on Friday, Jan. 27, 2023, at her residence.
Mrs. Wallace was born in Marion County on Dec. 5, 1942, to Neal and Willie Mae Warren Williams.
Mrs. Wallace was a member of the Union Chapel Freewill Baptist Church and spent most of her life as a homemaker. Dede enjoyed taking care of and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Wallace is survived by her husband - Jerry Wallace; daughter - Linda (Ronnie) Pollard; granddaughter - Ashley (Dawain) Rhudy; great-granddaughter - Molly Rhudy; brother - Billy Gene Williams; sisters - Marie Bearden and Nell Cole; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her parents - William Neal and Willie Mae Williams; sister - Patsy Hutchenson; and brother - Tommy Williams.
The funeral service for Mrs. Wallace was held on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023, from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at the Union Chapel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Wallace would like to extend their heart felt gratitude to the nurses of Enhabit Home Health and Hospice for the loving care of their family member.
