Betty June Veal Miller

Mrs. Betty June Veal Miller, 88, of Brilliant, passed away on Monday, Sept. 5, 2022, at the Plantation Manor Nursing Facility.
Mrs. Miller was born on Oct. 31, 1933, in Roanoke to Luther Sr., and Minnie Pearl Brown Veal. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Brilliant Church of God where she served as the pianist for over 50 years. Mrs. Miller enjoyed working, she spent much of her life as a seamstress for Tullahoma Industries until her retirement.
Mrs. Miller is survived by her sons - Ronnie (Teresa) Miller of Haleyville, Randal Miller of Dayton, Wyoming, and Bill (Sherilane) Miller of Brilliant; daughters - Daphne Brooks of Woodstock, and Melinda (Tim) Nixon of Boaz; 11 grandchildren - Ashley, Kevin, Taelor, Traci, Ty, Ranae, Valerie, Rance, Bo, Dillan, MaKayla and Micah; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters - Ida Elizabeth Lowry of Lafayette, and Florence Missouri Chase of Wedowee; and a host of other family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband - Clettus Miller; seven brothers; and three sisters.
The funeral service for Mrs. Miller was held on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, from the McGraw Memorial Chapel of the Miles Memorial Funeral Home with burial following at the Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery near Brilliant.
