Shirley Ann Channell

Mrs. Shirley Ann Channell, 68, of Guin, passed away on Friday, Sept. 2, 2022, at the Sunset Manor Health Care Facility in Guin.  
Mrs. Channell was born in Vernon on Oct. 1, 1953, to Pervy Lee and Roseetta Edgewater Moore. She was a member of the Concord Church of God in Winfield. Mrs. Channell was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, nanny, sister and friend.
Mrs. Channell is survived by her husband of 42 years - David Wayne Channell; children - Cecil (Nikkie) Channell, Randy Channell, Nicky Herrick, Vicky (Bobby) Johnson; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; sisters - Joyce (Earnest) Sorrells and Barbara Wyers; brothers - Bobby Moore, Danny Joe Moore and Larry Lee Moore; and a host of other nieces, nephews, church family and friends.  
She was preceded in death by her parents - Pervy and Etter Moore; sisters - Wyneil Moore, Linda Gail Moore and Rose Lee Edgeworth; brothers - Junior Moore and Jimmy Wayne Moore.
The funeral service for Mrs. Channell was held on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022, from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at the Winfield City Cemetery.
