Linda Darlene Carter Laux, 68, of Pinson, Tenn., passed away on Friday, Aug. 19, 2022, at 7:36 a.m. in Jackson, Tenn.
She was born on Friday, Aug. 13, 1954, in Waukegan, Ill., to Hubert and Betty Carter. She was the oldest of six children.
She attended Zion Benton Township High School in Zion, Ill. She co-owned 2 Sisters Kitchen in Tremont, Miss. She loved antiques, yard sales and vintage places.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years - Michael S. Laux of Pinson, Tenn.; her son - Russ (LaDana) Garrison of Stanton, Tenn.; her daughter - Candice (Chris) Hicks, of Hamilton; her sister - Gloria (Terry) Lundy; her brothers - Michael (Rhonda) Carter, Tom Carter, Patrick (Stephanie) Carter and Tim Carter, all of Hamilton.
She was extremely blessed with five amazing grandchildren - Montana, Kellen, Logan, Henley and Jonah; and four beautiful great-grandchildren.
She also leaves behind her aunt - Marty Fancher, whom she loved like a mother; her two cousins - Peni and Terri Keeling, whom she loved like sisters; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother - Betty Ann Keeling Carter Creekmore; and her son - Samuel David Carter.
A celebration of her life was held at The Molly Building in Hamilton on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022.
