HAMILTON - A total of $135,000 was presented to the three Hamilton school Principals during the Hamilton City Council meeting held on Tuesday, Sept. 7, at Hamilton City Hall.
Hamilton High School Principal David Cantrell, Hamilton Middle School principal Norman Ballard and Hamilton Elementary School Principal Gary McCarley were in attendance during the meeting to receive their checks.
Hamilton City Clerk Angela Owen explained that the $135,000 is given to schools annually and split equally.
According to Owen, each school receives $38,000 and the remaining $21,000 is split to cover the teacher's fund in each school.
