He was born in Haleyville on Friday, July 15, 1949, to Claudie Cole and Teeton Miller Cole.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his sons - Tony (Rhonda) Cole and Kevin Cole; grandchildren - Connor Cole, Kianna Cole, Kaitlin Cole and Brady Cole; brother - Jerry Cole; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.   
He was preceded in death by his son - Aaron Lee Cole; parents - Claudie and Teeton Cole; brothers - Bobby, Carlos, Danny and Jimmy; and sisters - Jean, Carolyn, Claudia J., Beatrice, Ruby and Nell.
A graveside service was held on Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, at New Prospect Cemetery.

Maxine Feltman, 85, Hamilton, passed away on Sept. 22, 2021, in Tampa, Fla.
She was very active in the church community of Hamilton and knew every word and verse to the old gospel hymns. It was God’s plan to wait for this first day of the fall season as it was her absolute favorite time of year.
She was born to the late Clarence and Ina Daffron on Jan. 22, 1936, in Cooper, Ky. She was married to the late Donald Feltman, Hamilton, and is survived by her brother - Glen Daffron; daughter - Deborah J. Coyle; and son - Steve Sargent. Her family will be bringing her home soon to rest next to her husband, Don, at Memorial Gardens.

Ms. Bessie Nell Hubbert, 80, Guin, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021.  
Ms. Hubbert was born on June 19, 1941, to Robert and Flora Hubbert.

Ms. Hubbert was a member of the White Rock Church of Christ in Guin. She attended college where she earned a degree in nursing as a R.N. She was employed with the Guin Hospital until its closure and afterwards she was employed with 3M in Guin.  
Ms. Hubbert is survived by her son - Billy (Mary) Hubbert, Belden, Miss.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Ms. Hubbert was preceded in death by her parents - Robert J. Hubbert and Flora Elizabeth Montgomery Hubbert; and four brothers - Jack Hubbert, Troy Hubbert, Millard Hubbert and Clint Hubbert.
The funeral service for Ms. Hubbert was held on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, from the Miles Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Beaver Creek Cemetery near Guin.

Stanley Wayne Landers, 68, Hackleburg, passed away on Sept. 22, 2021, at Russellville Hospital.

Mr. Leonard Key, 95, Brilliant, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021.
He was born on March 10, 1926, in Brilliant to William Henry Chester Key and Texanna Norris Key. He was the second of five children.

He was a 1946 graduate of Brilliant High School, a coal miner, business owner and a member of the Winfield American Legion Post 100. Mr. Key was a United States Army veteran serving during World War II in the South Pacific.
In 1943, he married the love of his life, Amelia. The two were married for 77 years before Amelia’s passing in 2020, and together they had three beautiful children.
In their long life together, they saw the growth of a large, loving family, including eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Key spent his life walking in Christ, and bravely lit the path for those he loved. He raised his family in God’s word and was an avid member of the Brilliant Church of Christ, where he served as an elder for over 40 years.
Those who loved him will fondly remember the nourishment from his garden, the time spent shelling peas on his porch, and the stories shared on long morning walks. His family will reminisce on holidays spent in his house, meals shared around his table and the love they felt in every hug.
He is survived by his son - David (Dean) Key; grandchildren - Scott (Wendy) Goodwin, Bill (Maggie) Goodwin, David Goodwin, Rena (Mark) Mays, Jeff (Natlie) Key, Dale Key and Barry Key; great-grandchildren - Lindsey (Brian) Jackson, Cari (Dustin) Stough, Jordan Goodwin, Taylor Goodwin, Madison Goodwin, Ben Key, Lauren Mays and Ryan Mays;  great-great-grandchildren - Kane Rushing, Ella Jace and Kye Jackson, and Kennedy, Sawyer and Hudson Stough; daughter-in-law - Jeanette Christopher; and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and close friends.
He has rejoined his wife - Amelia Key; daughter - Majorie Goodwin; son - Dwayne Key; parents - Chester and Texanna Key; grandson - Dwayne Key, Jr.; brothers - Lynu and Lloyd Key; and sisters - Modene Alexander and Dorthy Tucker.
The funeral service for Mr. Key was held on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021, from the Brilliant Church of Christ with burial following in the Brilliant Memorial Gardens.

Tula Nichols, 83, Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Hamilton.
She was born in Smithville, Miss. on Thursday, Nov. 4, 1937, to Jack Wells and Ovie Nabors Wells.

Rhonda Leigh Norris, 57, Brilliant, passed away at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Miss., on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021.

She was born on Aug. 14, 1964, in Brilliant to the late Donald Norris and Ruby Millican.
She was a graduate of Brilliant High School and Bevill State Community College. She was a LPN and previously worked at area medical facilities, mostly in geriatric care. She was an avid dog lover and bred and sold cocker spaniels for many years.  
She was a member of the American Kennel Association and Northwest Alabama Nurse Honor Guard.  She enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader.  
Mrs. Norris is survived by her husband - Jeff Hankins, Brilliant; mother - Ruby Norris, Hamilton; son - Dr. Stephen Alex (Daphne) Mann, Montgomery; brothers - Patrick Norris, Hamilton, and Kevin Norris, Winfield; her dogs - Adrianna, Pandora and Trixie; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father - Donald Norris; grandparents - Guy and Lenora Millican, and Marvin and Jesse Norris; uncle - Kenneth Price; aunt - Geneva Corkren; and her dog - Sheba.
Mrs. Norris was cremated and a memorial service was held at a later date.
