Two weeks ago, I was able to visit Colorado for the first time in a very long time to introduce my two-month-old daughter, Florence, to many family members during my Grandmother’s 80th birthday celebration.
I don’t really remember anything from my last visit to Colorado, I may have been 12 or 13 years old the last time I went, so I was very excited to see various sights that Colorado is so famous for.
Now, of course, I was excited to see my family. I’m always excited to see them. But as many who have read my columns before will know, I’m a huge photography enthusiast, so I’m sure you’ll understand if I say that I was equally as excited to get photos of some of the most beautiful scenery in our country.
Before I even packed my clothes I made sure I took film out of my fridge and neatly packed all three of my cameras for this trip.
I packed my little 35mm camera, my medium format twin reflex lens camera and my large format Speed Graphic all into one bag, thanks to my wife, of course.
