Chain reaction leads to three-vehicle wreck

A chain reaction wreck led to a 2006 Ford Escape being pinned between an 18-wheeler and Town Square Jewelry on Thursday, Jan. 17, in downtown Hamilton. No one was injured in the three-vehicle wreck, according to a report from the Hamilton Fire Department

HAMILTON - No one involved in the three-vehicle wreck that happened in downtown Hamilton on Thursday, Jan. 17, sustained any injuries, according to a report from the Hamilton Fire Department.
The department was dispatched to the scene at 3:26 p.m that day but arrived to find two passenger vehicles and an 18-wheeler involved, the report said. One of the vehicles had crashed into the side of Town Square Jewelry, located at the corner of Military Street South and 1st Avenue S.W.
Kegan Flatt, who witnessed the accident, spoke to the Journal Record at the scene. Flatt said a vehicle pulled out of the Chevron station into oncoming south-bound traffic and caused the chain reaction accident that involved a Silverado in front of a Ford Escape driven by Cheyenne Loveless who hit the 18-wheeler.
