Hamilton Police Department

HAMILTON - The following arrests and activities were reported by the Hamilton Police Department for the period of Nov. 20-26:
Incident, offense cases
Four for possession of a controlled substance; three for possession of drug paraphernalia; two for fourth-degree theft of property; and one each for third-degree domestic violence, harrassment, second-degree possession of marijuana, attempting to elude arrest, documentation of a forged check, documentation of property damage and documentation of a custody dispute.
Citations, Arrests
Five for speeding; four each for no insurance and improper tag; two for possession of a controlled substance; and one each for driving with a suspended or revoked license, third-degree domestic violence, second-degree possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, fourth-degree theft of property, public intoxication, minor in possession of alcohol, attempting to elude arrest, violation of a protection order, first-degree criminal trespassing and possession of brass knuckles.
Wrecks
Four wrecks were reported for the week.
Felony arrests
The following felony arrests were released:
• Cody Lee Gann, 26, Hamilton, was arrested on Nov. 23 for possession of a controlled substance and second-degree possession of marijuana and remains in the Marion County Jail in Hamilton on a $5,000 bond.
• Austin Blake Wells, 22, Phil Campbell, was arrested on Nov. 25 for possession of a controlled substance and was released from the county jail on a $5,000 bond.
(When a defendant is charged with a crime, the charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.)

Marion County Sheriff’s Department

HAMILTON - The following arrests and activities were reported for the two-week period ending Nov. 26:
Offense reports
Two each for probation violation and violation of release order; and one each for district court alias, traffic court alias, possession of drug paraphernalia, third-degree domestic violence-harrassment, third-degree criminal mischief, bench warrant, harrassment and issuing a worthless check.
Felony arrests
The following felony arrests were released:
• Chris Randolph, 40, Winfield, was arrested on Nov. 24 for possession of a controlled substance and two counts of trafficking and remains in the county jail on a $550,00 bond.
• Donna Coleman, 56, Winfield, was arrested on Nov. 26 for third-degree burglary and fourth-degree theft of property and remains in the county jail on a $6,500 bond.

Winfield Police Department

WINFIELD - The following arrests and activities were reported by the Winfield Police Department for the period of Nov. 21-27.
Incident,offense cases
Two for larceny/theft from a residence; and one each for second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree domestic violence, third-degree larceny/theft of lost property, first-degree burglary, second-degree larceny/theft of miscellaneous items, unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle, third-degree criminal trespass, violation of a protection order, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, first-degree possession of marijuana, third-degree burglary and making a false report to a law enforcement agency.
Citations
Two for mutilated/altered tag; and one each for speeding and failure to display insurance.
Arrests
One each for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, first-degree possession of marijuana, third-degree burglary, larceny/theft from a residence and alias warrant.
Wrecks
One wreck was reported for the week.
