Hamilton Police Department

HAMILTON - The following arrests and activities were reported by the Hamilton Police Department for the period of Sept. 18-24:
Incident, offense cases
Five for fourth-degree theft of property; three for third-degree burglary; two each for third-degree domestic violence, harassment, third-degree theft of property and third-degree criminal mischief; and one each for third-degree assault, harassing communications, first-degree possession of a forged instrument, fourth-degree theft by deception, duty to give information/render aid, unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and second-degree theft of property.
Citations, Arrests
Six for no insurance; five for speeding; four for third-degree theft of property; three for driving with a suspended/revoked license; two each for driving under the influence, improper tag, third-degree domestic violence and tinted windows; and one each for fourth-degree theft of property, unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle, third-degree criminal mischief and third-degree assault.
Wreck
One wreck was reported for the week.
Felony arrest
The following felony arrest was released:
• Jerimey Lynn Gallaway, 45, Hackleburg, was arrested on Sept. 12 for first-degree theft by deception and was released from the Marion County Jail in Hamilton on Sept. 14 on a bond of $7,500.
(When a defendant is charged with a crime, the charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.)


Marion Co. Sheriff’s Department

HAMILTON - The following arrests and activities were reported for the two-week period ending Sept. 25:
Offense reports
Five for third-degree criminal mischief; four for third-degree domestic violence-harassment; three each for circuit court alias and driving under the influence; two each for traffic court alias and bench warrant; and one each for district court alias, violation of a release order, possession of drug paraphernalia, non-support, drug court violation and minor consumption of alcohol.
Felony arrests
The following felony arrests were released:
• Jeremy Winters, 23, Hamilton, was arrested on Sept. 21 for third-degree theft of property and remains in the county jail on a bond of $2,500.
• Baron Webb, 52, Guin, was arrested on Sept. 22 for two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and was released on Sept. 24 on a bond of $5,500.
• Alicia Morrison, 31, Winfield, was arrested on Sept. 19 for three counts of possession of a controlled substance and was released the next day, Sept. 20, on a bond of $7,500.
• Daxton Cagle, 24, Winfield, was arrested on Sept. 20 for second-degree theft of property and remains in the county jail on a bond of $5,000.

Winfield Police Department

WINFIELD - The following arrests and activities were reported by the Winfield Police Department for the period of Sept. 19-25:
Incident,offense cases
Three for officers report; two each for third-degree domestic violence, harassing communications and possession of a controlled substance; and one each for first-degree trespassing, third- and fourth-degree theft of property, possession of drug paraphernalia, third-degree assault, identity theft, third-degree criminal mischief, driving under the influence, domestic violence-strangulation/suffocation and second-degree criminal mischief.
Citations
Two for driving with a suspended license; and one each for expired tag and driving under the influence.
Arrests
Four for alias warrant; two for possession of a controlled substance; and one each for capias warrant, driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree criminal trespassing.
Wrecks, calls
Five wrecks and 84 calls were reported for the week.
