HAMILTON - The risks and danger associated with all-terrain vehicles (ATV) recently shocked Northwest Alabama with the tragic death of two children.
According to Alabama State Troopers, a boy, 8, and a girl, 4, were killed when the ATV they were riding overturned on Saturday, Aug. 25. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred less than a mile from Marion County on Mill Creek Road, located off Alabama Highway 19.
According to all August press release by the Children’s of Alabama, more than 230 cases of ATV-related traumas have been treated by its emergency department physicians.
