City will donate $270k to schools

  • Funds set for classrooms, will not supply SRO

HAMILTON - Hamilton’s three schools will be receiving 100 percent of the city’s revenue generated from alcohol sales. However, funding school resource officers (SRO) will not be a part of this equation. The Hamilton City Council voted unanimously on Monday, July 2, to donate $270,000 to Hamilton’s elementary, middle and high school during the next two years, whereupon it will be reviewed.
