Herman Logan

Mr. Herman Logan, 67, of Winfield, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026, at his residence. Herman was born in Haleyville on May 22, 1958, to Elmer and Viney Garner Logan.
He was raised in the Brilliant and Winfield areas. He lived for a time in Iowa and later in Texas, where he was employed with Continental Conveyor, before returning to Winfield. Mr. Logan was a member of the Brilliant Church of God. He spent nearly 45 years working as a truck driver. He was also employed for approximately 10 years with a local car lot, garage and service station. Later, he opened and operated his own business, Herman Logan Trucking, which he owned and operated until his retirement.
Mr. Logan is survived by his wife, Kimberly Logan; his children, Robert Logan (Tammy), Jeremy Logan and Amanda Logan; his grandchildren, Mason Logan (Mariah) and Connor Logan (Kristin), Caleb South, Jimmy Lee, Logan and Xavier White; his great-grandchildren, Lainey and Mavery Logan; his sister, Barbara Gilley (Larry); and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Logan was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Logan.
Funeral services for Mr. Logan were held on Jan. 27, 2026, at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the Goldmine Church of Christ Cemetery.
