Arlene Green

Arlene Green, 68, of Winfield, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026 at NMMC-Gilmore in Amory, Miss.  
Arlene was born on May 23, 1957, in Concord, Calif., to the late Clovis Eugene O'Mary and the late Bertie Mixon O'Mary. She attended Sulligent High School. Arlene pursued a career as a CNA, previously working at Pineview Nursing Home and Generations of Vernon. She has been married to her loving husband, Junior Green, for 53 years. Arlene enjoyed watching TV, especially her favorite show, the Golden Girls, and was known to be an avid Alabama football fan. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she loved them all dearly. Her sweet spirit, bright personality and very loving heart will always be cherished and forever missed by all who loved and knew her. Arlene was a member of Barnesville Missionary Baptist Church.  
Arlene has left behind a husband, Grady "Junior" Green; brother, Mark (Elena) O'Mary; daughters, Darlene (Ed) Gray, Rita Lee Harlow, Tracy (Jim) Williams and Sharon Green; and a host of grandkids and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clovis Eugene O'Mary and Bertie O'Mary Flynn; stepfather, Joe Flynn; brothers, Trent O'Mary, Doyle O'Mary and Marion O'Mary; and sister, Teresa Thomas.
Funeral services were held on Jan. 28, 2026, at the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Webb Cemetery.  Bro. Kevin Young officiated.  
Pallbearers were Josh Brooks, Dewey Allen, Calvin Akins, Jim Jones, Kobe Davis and Nathan Atkins.
