Veterans Day programs set for area high schools

HAMILTON — High schools in Marion County have set the dates and times for their annual Veterans Day programs to honor those who have served their country.
All of the schools cordially invite area veterans to attend the special ceremonies and be recognized.
Please make plans to attend these student-led programs in your city or town, and consider reaching out to a veteran you know and bringing them along.
Program dates, schools, times and locations are as follows:

Thursday, Nov. 6
• Brilliant High School will hold its program on Thursday, Nov. 6, at 10 a.m. in the high school gym.

Friday, Nov. 7
• Winfield City High School will hold its program on Friday, Nov. 7, at 9 a.m. in the high school gym.

Monday, Nov. 10
• Hamilton High School will hold its events on Monday, Nov. 10, beginning with a reception in the library at 9 a.m., followed by the program at 10 a.m. in the high school gym;
• Phillips High School will hold its program on Monday, Nov. 10, at 8:30 a.m. in the Attie Fleming Building located behind the school;
• Marion County High School will hold its program on Monday, Nov. 10, beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the high school gym; and
• Hackleburg High School will hold its program on Monday, Nov. 10, at 1 p.m. in the high school gym.
