Emma Dean Warren

Mrs. Emma Dean Warren, 90, of Winfield, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025, in the Diversicare Nursing Facility. Mrs. Warren was born in Marion County, Ala., on Sept. 24, 1934, to Olan and Eunice Aldridge Harbin.
She was a member of El Bethel Baptist Church. She worked many years as a seamstress with Clifford Industries until her retirement in the late 1990s. After retiring, she dedicated her time to helping raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also known for helping raise many children in her community. She enjoyed being surrounded by her family, cooking delicious meals, solving word search puzzles, singing and hosting gatherings.
Mrs. Warren is survived by her children, Joe Warren, Shelia Morrison, Roger Warren and Jan Neal; grandchildren, Paige Morrison (Tim Whitehead), Josh Coats (Kacie), Leslie Cobb (Robert), Emily Cooper (Anthony Frost), Daniel Warren (Tiffany), Maranda Yaden (Zeb) and Seaira Lake (Jeff); 16 great-grandchildren; siblings, Morris Harbin (Susan), Harold Harbin (Marcia), Shirley Suddeth, Sharon Hensley (Wayne), Jerry Harbin (Jewel), Alan Harbin (Stephanie), Linda Hopkins and J.D. Harbin (Kathy); and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by her husband, Hollie T. Warren Jr.; daughter, Glenda Yaden; grandson, Jeremiah Warren; her second mother, Minnie Bell Harbin; and siblings, W.L., Bobby Earl, Quin, Billy Gene Harbin and Joyce McLemore.
Funeral services for Mrs. Warren were held on June 4, 2025, at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Grigg’s Place Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Gentiva Hospice of Jasper, 74 Industrial Parkway, Jasper, AL 35501.
