GUIN — The Marion County Red Raiders hosted the Phillips Bears on Friday night, Aug. 30, defeating the Bears 47-0.
Marion County’s O’Marion Smith opened the game with a touchdown return on the opening kick off, but the touchdown was called back after flags on the play.
Starting from their own 46, the Raiders started making up lost ground with rushing yards from Ty Hollis, Tye Madison and Samuel Taylor.
