Judy Faye Hall

Mrs. Judy Faye Hall, 72, of the Hubbertville Community passed away on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023 at her residence. Mrs. Hall was born in Fayette County on November 25, 1950 to William Burton and Ruby Frances Dozier Smith. She was a member of the Hubbertville Church of Christ and a 1969 graduate of Hubbertville High School. After high school, she furthered her education at Brewer State Community College in Fayette. Judy spent much of her life as a home maker and as a bus driver for the Fayette County School System before her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, working with flowers, shopping and taking care of her grandchildren.
Mrs. Hall is survived by her husband of 56 years, Johnny Hall; children, Amy Hall (Curtis), and Jonathan Hall (Sherry); grandchildren, Cody Whitehead, Courtney Gardner (Cody), Devin Lane (Desiree), Lavin Johnson (Mikey), and Faith Hall; great-grandchildren, Lane Ethridge, Peyton Gardner, Caroline Yerby, Cooper Lane, Chandler Whitehead, Kendall Johnson, Evalyn Jones, Stella Johnson, and Adalyne Lane; sisters, Marie Tucker and Gail Lewis; sister-in-law, Diane Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charlton, Arthur C., William “Bill”, and David Smith; sisters, Juanita, Joanne, and Janice Smith; sister-in-law, Janet Hall Berryhill; brother-in-law, Terry Tucker; parents-in-law, J.P. Hall and Inez Hall Herren; and nephews, Nick and Jason Smith.
Funeral services for Judy were held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial that followed in the Hubbertville Church of Christ Cemetery.
