Edith Kitchens

Edith Kitchens, 86, of Winfield passed away on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023 at Sunset Manor in Guin.  
Edith was born on June 14, 1937 in Guin to the late Clarence Ledlow and the late Kate Knight Ledlow.  She attended Marion County High School and later attended Beauty School in Illinois.  She was a very faithful church member at Abundant Life Fellowship Church, where she also was the church treasurer.  Edith truly loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She received such joy whenever she was cooking for her family.  Her beautiful smile and loving spirit will forever be cherished and greatly missed.
The family would like to express special thanks to the nurses, nurse's aides, and personnel at Sunset Manor for all their loving kindness to their precious mother.  
She is survived by daughters, Brenda Raburn (Lynn), Vilonia, AR, Beverly Kitchens (Chris Tucker), Winfield; grandchildren, Whit Miles, III (Danielle), Terrie Bonds (Shawn), Shelley Grisham (Chad), and Tim Raburn (Jennifer); great grandchildren, Ashlynn Grisham, Jacen Grisham, Jared Grisham, Dylan Raburn, Jordan Raburn, Blaise Miles, Miles Miles, and Carmilla Bonds. She was preceeded in death by parents, Clarence and Kate Ledlow; husband, Charles L. Kitchens; and brother, Eugene Ledlow.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2023 at Abundant Life Fellowship Church in Gu-Win, and graveside services and burial followed in the Guin City Cemetery.  Rev. David Beaty officiated. The pallbearers were Dylan Raburn, Blaise Miles, Miles Miles, Whit Miles III, and Chad Grisham.
