Mrs. Margaret Clark Farrar, 68, of Winfield, Ala., passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at her residence. Margaret was born on March 12, 1955, in Fayette, Ala., to Thomas and Ila Mae Whitehead Marcum Tucker. She attended Winfield City High School and was a faithful member of the Church of God. In earlier years, Margaret enjoyed playing softball, she was also a talented seamstress and quilter. She loved going to the beach and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Cassie Clark (Allison Hinshaw); son, Stephen Clark; grandchildren, Memory Clark, Landon Hinshaw, Nevaeh Hawkins, and Briggs Hinshaw; siblings, Carolyn Harrison, Sarah Henderson, Martha Haney, and Rebecca Dodd; half-siblings, Lucy Ulibarri, William B. Marcum, and Raymond Marcum; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by sisters, Diane Davis, Pauline Grammer, Charlotte Allen, Frances Snellgrove, and Geraldine Boggs; brothers, T.J. Marcum, and Joseph Marcum; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Margaret were held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Liberty Cemetery near Rock City.
