Mr. Wilburn Bryan Markham, 78, of Guin passed away on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023, in the Aliceville Manor Nursing Home.
Mr. Markham was born on Dec. 26, 1944, in Marion County to Jethro and Etma Williams Markham.
He was a graduate of Marion County High School. Mr. Markham was employed for many years in the textile industry, working with Munsingwear, Health-Tex and Guin Manufacturing as a sewing machine mechanic. After his retirement, he operated Outdoor South Hunting and Fishing in Winfield.
Mr. Markham enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time with his family outdoors, listening to country music and watching Alabama football.
He is survived by his daughters - Tonya(Chad) Baker of Arley, and Crystal Bellamy of Norfolk, Va.; grandchildren - Dylan and Haley Grace Barker of Tuscaloosa, and Jackson Bellamy of Norfolk, Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years - Mary E. Markham; his parents; and two brothers - Bob and Joe Markham.
The funeral service for Mr. Markham was held on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023, from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at the Malloy-McDonald Family Cemetery near Wayside.
