Mr. Larry Dwayne Vance, 67, of Guin, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023, at the DCH Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Vance was born in Indiana on Dec. 12, 1955, to Delmar Vance and Christine Williams Flynn. Mr. Vance was a veteran of the United States Army and Army National Guard. He was employed as a truck driver with KSF Trucking for over 20 years. In his spare time, Larry enjoyed spending time fishing with his grandson, hunting, and watching Alabama Football and NASCAR on tv.
Mr. Vance is survived by his wife of 48 years - Anita Vance; son - Jeremy (Cindy) Vance of Bankston; grandson - Brady Vance; sister - Debbie (Don) Reese of Sulligent; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Mr. Vance was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother - Jeff Vance.
The funeral service for Mr. Vance was held on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023, from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with military honors being presented with burial following at the Dickinson, Wates Family Cemetery.
