Thornell provides Northwest Alabama EDA update

HAMILTON -  David Thornell, president and chief executive officer of the Northwest Alabama Economic Development Alliance (Northwest Alabama EDA), addressed the Marion County Commission to provide an update on potential business and answer questions from commissioners during a regular meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 28, at the commission office in Hamilton.
During his address, Thornell informed the commissioners that he has been busy at work promoting the area and Interstate 22 to several different manufacturers in attempts to bring business to Marion County and create jobs.
“What we’re doing is packaging and promoting the communities, properties and people,” said Thornell.
