HAMILTON - The following arrests and activities were reported by the Hamilton Police Department for the period of Dec. 18-24:
Incident, offense cases
Three each for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia; and one each for third-degree domestic violence, illegal possession of a prescription and third-degree assault.
Citations, Arrests
Five for possession of a controlled substance; three for possession of drug paraphernalia; two for third-degree assault; and one each for driving under the influence, driving with a suspended or revoked license, improper tag, third-degree theft of property, failure to signal, harassing communications and improper lane usage.
Wrecks
Three wrecks were reported for the week.
Felony arrests
The following felony arrests were released:
•  Shaeleia K. Loftis, 22, Winfield, was arrested on Dec. 19 for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and remains in the Marion County Jail in Hamilton on a $3,000 bond.

HAMILTON - The following arrests and activities were reported for the week period ending Dec. 27:
Offense reports
Three for third-degree domestic violence-harassment; two each for public intoxication, second-degree possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, probation violation, issuing a worthless check, illegal possession of a prescription drug, third-degree domestic violence-assaut, disorderly conduct and failure to pay circuit court; and one each for district court alias, traffic court alias, parole violation, driving under the influence, resisting arrest, third-degree criminal mischief, drug court alias, drug court violation, bench warrant and providing false information to a law enforcement officer.
Felony arrests
The following felony arrests were released:
• Amanda Farris, 39, Guin, was arrested on Dec. 18 for possession of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and was released from the county jail on Dec. 20 on a $5,500 bond.
• Christopher Baker, 29, Haleyville, was arrested on Dec. 18 for two counts of possession of a controlled substance, first-degree possession of marijuana and concealed carrying a pistol without a permit and was released from the county jail on Dec. 21 on a $15,500 bond.
• William Franks, 53, Guin, was arrested on Dec. 19 for first-degree domestic violence and violating a protection order and was released the same day on a $15,000 bond.
• Billy Beasley, 38, Carbon Hill, was arrested on Dec. 19 for providing false information to a law enforcement officer and attempting to unlawfully distribute a controlled substance and was released on Dec. 21 on a $6,500 bond.
• Ronnie Hall, 53, Hamilton, was arrested on Dec. 19 for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and remains in the county jail on a bond of $5,500.
• Roger Cochran, 52, Hamilton, was arrested on Dec. 19 for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and remains in the county jail on a $5,500 bond.
• Peggy Morgan, 32, Sulligent, was arrested following an indictment by the Marion County Grand Jury for criminally negligent homicide and remains in the county jail on a $6,000 cash bond.
• Misty Cummings, 45, Haleyville, was arrested on Dec. 21 for second- and third-degree theft of property and remains in the county jail on a $7,500 bond.
• R. Landon Sullivan, 29, Winfield, was arrested on Dec. 23 for possession of a controlled substance and second-degree possession of marijuana and remains in the county jail on a $5,500 bond.
• Matthew Gilley, 36, Fayette, was arrested on Dec. 23 for possession of a controlled substance and remains in the county jail on a $2,500 bond.
• Donald Terrell, 46, Hamilton, was arrested on Dec. 24 for two counts of possession of a controlled substance and third-degree theft of property and remains in the county jail on a $7,500 bond.
• Kelly Eads, 27, Guin, was arrested on Dec. 24 for possession of a controlled substance and second-degree promotion of prison contraband and remains in the county jail on a $5,500 bond.
• Brandon Stutts, 23, Jasper, was arrested on Dec. 26 for possession of firearm by a forbidden person and possession of drug paraphernalia and remains in the county jail on a $3,000 bond.
• Charles Clark, 37, Haleyville, was arrested on Dec. 26 for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and remains in the county jail on a $3,000 bond.
