Winfield Main Street's Bake N’ Auction scheduled for Sunday

WINFIELD - Local residents should mark their calendars for the Winfield Main Street’s annual Bake N’ Auction fundraiser scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 11, from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Pastime Civic Center.
The fundraiser will take place on the same day as the merchant Christmas Open House in downtown Winfield.
“That way you can shop with all our downtown merchants and then come by the Pastime Civic Center and bid on some delicious items!” said Main Street Director Tammy Brashier.
The auction will have cakes, pies, candy, cookies, bread and more for purchase, as well as individual bags of goodies for sale.
Brashier said the items are made from some of the best cooks in Winfield and are sure to excite a crowd for holiday get-togethers.
The best part about the auction, according to Brashier, is that the funds directly benefit the City of Winfield.
“All the money made from the Main Street Bake N’ Auction goes right back into our city,” she stated. “This is your opportunity to support Main Street and get something in return for the donation. Help us continue to make our city a more beautiful place to live!”
The Winfield Main Street Program is a non-profit 501c3 organization that exists to restore, support and beautify the city.
