Correction

In the Wednesday, July 25, edition of the Journal Record, in the story named, “Cole murder ruled work-related,” in the sentence that reads, “Lawler was murdered while at work at Lawler & Cole in downtown Hamilton on Feb. 10, 2016.” This is incorrect and should have named Linda Cole as the victim of the 2016 shooting, as it was throughout the rest of the story.
Johnny Mack Lawler was the name of Cole’s partner at the accounting firm at that time.
The Journal Record tries to publish information correctly the first time, but if we fail to do so—either on the part of our staff or our sources—we will be glad to correct it.
To request a correction or clarification, call staff writers Scott Johnson at 921-3104 or Mandye Green at 487-3278.
