Michael Allen Raburn

Mr. Michael Allen Raburn, 65, of Winfield, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, at his residence. He was born on Aug. 1, 1959, in Texas, to Ted and Beverly Nichols Raburn.
Michael was a graduate of Winfield City High School. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree at Auburn University and a master’s degree from the University of Salamanca in Spain. A dedicated educator, Michael began his career teaching high school Spanish at Lassiter High School. He later became a Spanish professor at Kennesaw State University, where he taught countless students until his retirement.
Michael is survived by his daughter, Alex Raburn; his siblings, Dwayne Raburn and Cathy Raburn; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents Ted and Beverly Raburn and sister, Lisa Raburn Chaffin.
