“With state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, the historic old theater, located in downtown Winfield, is a great venue for attending concerts.  Convenient, free, safe parking is available.  Most of these artists will interact with our audience and be available for photographs and autographs after the shows. This makes the concert experience even more enjoyable. Each year we try to schedule concerts featuring professional artists from different musical genres which appeals to a broader audience,” said Hyche. “This gives residents in Winfield and the surrounding communities the opportunity to experience live professional performances normally available only in much larger cities. We plan to offer dinner prior to two of these concerts.  Dinner reservations will be required.
“We are very thankful for the support we receive from the Alabama State Council on the Arts which makes it possible for us to bring these quality, professional artists to our rural area.  We also appreciate our State Representative Tracy Estes and State Senator Garlan Gudger for their support of the Pastime Theatre and the Arts Council,” she added.
All shows begin at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6. All seating is general admission. The Pastime Theatre is conveniently located at 1052 U.S. Hwy. 43, in downtown Winfield.  In addition to the theater office, tickets may be purchased at the Gold Connection, Winfield City Hall and the Kemp Foundation in Winfield.  Credit card purchases may be made at itickets.com.  For more information, please call 205-487-3002.
