HAMILTON — The Hamilton Methodist Church hosted its 38th annual Thanksgiving Dinner for community members unable to attend or unable to afford a family meal on Nov. 28. There were 250 plates provided to those who signed up through Fred’s Pharmacy or the church. The group also fed 400 more individuals, which included those working on the holiday, such as the E-911 office, Hamilton police and fire departments, sheriff’s office employees and inmates, hospital and nursing home staff, employees at the A&I and the work release, as well as the ladies and gentlemen residing at Ashwood Apartments. Officials noted The Ramp helped by bringing desserts and sending volunteers. Jonathan Moore of House of Plenty also prepared several boxes of cakes, cookies and pies with ingredients provided by the church.
