Mrs. Barbara Gail Ingram Bircheat, better known as Gail,85, of Winfield, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024, in the Grandview Medical Center.
Gail was born in Winfield, on Nov. 8, 1939, to Erskine and Mittie Jane Perry Ingram. She was a member of Winfield First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. Gail was a 1959 graduate of Winfield High School. She spent many years employed as a seamstress with Winfield Manufacturing before her retirement. In her spare time Gail enjoyed watching football, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
Gail is survived by her sons, Andy Bircheat and Tony Bircheat (Jean); her grandchildren, Scott Bircheat, Amanda Tolbert (Chris), Shawn Isbell, Heather Garrett (Josh), Zack Bircheat (Autumn), Kerri Britt, Kimberly Britt, and Kayla Churchwell; 20 great-grandchildren; nieces, Karen Booth, Rebecca Scott, and Pam Ison; nephews, Mike Caudle, Dan, David, Bob, and Billy Flurry and Randy Bly; and a host of other family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her husband, Columbus R. Bircheat; her sisters, Mary Nell Bly, Fay Caudle, Dorothy Sue Flurry, and Wynford Helen Ingram.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bircheat were held on Nov. 22, 2024, at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
