Guin recognizes Terrell after 37 years

GUIN — The City of Guin held a luncheon on Friday, Sept. 22, to recognize an employee who retired after working for the city for almost 40 years. His tenure with the city lasted through three mayors.
Kelvin Terrell worked for the city’s street and sanitation department for 37 years. Terrell is a graduate of Marion County High School and attends New Hope Free Will Baptist Church in Beaverton, where he has also served as a deacon for 33 years.
City leaders were joined by Terrell’s family, friends and co-workers at city hall to celebrate his retirement.
