Mrs. Deborah Jan Vaughn Pollard, 71, of Winfield, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer.
Mrs. Pollard was born in Winfield on July 23, 1950, to Jesse Lloyd and Mary Ilene Hubbert Vaughn. She was a member of the Brilliant Church of God and attended Winfield City High School. She enjoyed line dancing and preforming with her friends, the Bama Dancers. She was a kind, loving, caring, wife, mother, grandmother and friend that always put others needs before her own and always has a positive attitude.
Mrs. Pollard is survived by her children - Vanessa Pollard (Eric) Estill of Winfield and Brent Pollard of Brilliant; grandchildren - Laken Willis, Mason Osborn, Drew Estill, Kade Estill and Tyler Pollard; step-granddaughter - Megan Dennis; great-grandchildren - Kade Franks and Camp Sellers; step-great-grandchildren - Tripp and Nichole Dennis; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband - Joe Pollard; her parents; sisters - Gail Huguley and Cheryl Vaughn; and brothers - Larry Vaughn and Gary Vaughn.
The funeral service for Mrs. Pollard was held on Sunday, June 5, 2022, from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at the Brilliant Memorial Gardens.
