HAMILTON/WINFIELD - Birmingham-based Blue Skies Medical will be hosting two screening events on Friday, April 19, in Marion County.
Blue Skies managing partner Donna West said that the medical group is partnering with Fred’s Pharmacy in Hamilton and Winfield Pharmacy to bring hereditary cancer screening opportunities to the area.
Screenings will take place in Hamilton from 9 a.m. to noon. Winfield screenings will begin at 1 p.m. and run through 4 p.m.
The Blue Skies official said that the screening is completely covered by Medicare and Medicare Advantage Plans, with no out-of-pocket costs.
