Three local high schools receive new stadium lights in time for football


New stadium lights have been installed at Brilliant, Marion County and Phillips high schools.

MARION COUNTY — When students at Brilliant High School, Marion County High School and Phillips High School return to school this fall, there will be some new “Friday Night Lights” to welcome them.
The Marion County Board of Education recently made huge investments in these schools, with the stadium lights projects costing approximately $330,000 per school, for a grand total of $990,000.
Superintendent Dr. Patrick Sutton provided more information on the project and its funding.
