Janice Perry Franks, 91, of Guin, passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2024, at her residence.
Born Oct. 5, 1933, in Guin, she is the daughter of the late William Rance and Vertie Lenore Guin Perry and the wife of the late John Billy Franks. She had lived in Guin most of her life and was a member of the Church Of Christ.
She is survived by her son, Barry Gilbreath and daughter, Jana Gosa (Danny), all of Guin; two grandchildren, Heather Hollis (Jamerson) and Amber Gosa (Kalob Hawkins); four great-grandchildren, Alice and Khloe Cantrell and Jensen and Enzlee Hollis.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Joel Gilbreath; four sisters, Helen Howard, Bernice Dyar, Dorothy Shirey and Eva Lou Adkins; and three brothers, Robert "Roy" Perry, Dalton Perry and Hilton Perry.
Graveside services were held Oct. 15, 2024, at the Guin City Cemetery.
