Johnny Mack Lawler, CPA, 75, was born on Dec. 8, 1946, to James C. Lawler and Annie Lee Real Lawler in Byrd Alabama.
He graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor of science in accounting, obtained his CPA license and worked for over 50 years in public accounting, providing personalized tax, accounting, business services, and consulting advise to a variety of clients. He thoroughly enjoyed his work and his clients. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hamilton.
He is survived by his children - Dede (Terry) Hutcheson, Steve (Tracy) Lawler and Kristi Lawler; grandchildren - Emma (Blaine) Newman, Lakin (Layton) Powell and Leah Lawler.
He was preceded in death by his parents - James C. and Annie Lee Real Lawler; brother - Jimmy Lawler; and sister - Linda Ann Cason.
The funeral service for Mr. Lawler was held on March 24, 2022, at the Hamilton First Baptist Church with burial following at the Memorial Gardens.
