Mr. Larry Roger Roberts, 70, of Winfield, passed away on Friday, Feb. 4, 2022, at his residence.
He was born in Russeville on April 16, 1951, to Ernest and Samie Lee Roberts. He was a member of the Landmark Church where he served as a deacon and a 1969 graduate of Brilliant High School. He worked in the mobile home industry and County Corner Hardware in Guin for many years. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family and friends.
Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife of 50 years - Patricia Ann Seaborn Roberts; his children - Traci Henderson, of Birmingham, Teresa (Michael) Mullins, of Winfield, and David (Amy) Roberts, of Birmingham; his grandchildren - Jordan Williams, Justin Williams, Lily Henderson and Jake Roberts; his siblings - Glen (Judy) Roberts, of Haleyville, Choyce Roberts, of Birmingham, Brenda (Bill) Turner, of Winfield, and Marion (Louis) Norrell, of Jasper; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents - Ernest and Samie Lee McDonald Roberts; and a brother - Donald Roberts.
The funeral service for Mr. Roberts was held on Monday, Feb. 7, 2022, from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at the West Alabama Memorial Gardens in Gu-Win.
