Mrs. Sonya Rena’ Laird Frost, 65, of Guin, passed away on Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, in the UAB Medical Center in Birmingham.
She was born in Jasper on Aug. 28, 1956, to John H. and Nellie Romine Laird. She was a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She attended Cordova High School and was a supervisor with NTN-Bower, Corp. and Tullahoma Industries, LLC. for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years - Robert Frost; her mother - Nellie (James Mann) Romine; step-sons - Scot Rowland and Gordon (Susan) Frost; grandchildren - Carter Rowland, Hill Thomas, Ashton Frost, Anna Grace Frost, Adam Frost and Noah Frost; her brother - John Allen (Amanda) Laird; her niece - Jillian (Hunter) Averhart; her nephew - Judson (Jada) Laird; a daughter-in-law - Sonia Frost Pickle; and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter - Mia Michelle Headrick; her father - John H. Laird Jr.; and a stepson - Matthew Frost.
The funeral service for Mrs. Frost was held on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022, from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at the Walker Memory Garden in Jasper.
