Diana Cole, 74, of Guin, passed away on Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, in the Sunset Manor Nursing Home.
She was born on May 15, 1947, in Winfield. She is the daughter of the late Johnny and Mae Nix Lynn and the wife of Russell Cole.
She lived in Guin most of her life and was a member of the Beaverton Free Will Baptist Church. She worked at Health-Tex, Munsingwear and Oneta. She loved her family, and her boys were her world.
She is survived by her husband - Russell Cole; two sons - Jeff (Sheila) Cole and Greg (April) Cole; five grandchildren - John Cole, Jessica Otts, Carley Hester, Hillary Cole and Hallie Cole; one great-granddaughter - Willow Cole; and two sisters - Pat Gann and Pangie McCluskey.
She was preceded in death by a daughter - Sherry Cole Burks; a son - Jeremy Cole; a granddaughter - Ashley Cole; a sister - Brenda Faye Lynn; and five brothers - Johnny Lynn Jr., Grover Lynn, Herbie Lynn, Jerry Lynn and Steve Lynn.
The funeral service for Mrs. Cole was held on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, from the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Guin with burial following at the Piney Grove Cemetery.
Bro. Phillip Miles was the officiating minister.
